Come learn about the policy and ask questions during this informal open house. A short staff presentation on the process will begin at 6 p.m. Public comments will be accepted.
The open house will cover the policy proposed by the Cropland Policy Advisory Group, introduce some of the existing programs for promoting local food and growth in the agricultural economy, and highlight some of the work POS does with its farmer partners.

Staff will present the policy to a joint session of the Food and Agriculture Policy Council (FAPC) and the Parks and Open Space Advisory Commission (POSAC). Public comments will be accepted.

FAPC will vote on whether to recommend approval of the policy to the Board of County Commissioners. Public comments will not be accepted.
