Height Limit Workaround – UPDATE

By

On May 17th, City Council held a public hearing on a site review application that would have allowed a three foot violation of the height limit for an accessory structure.

After hearing presentations from city staff and the applicant, as well as testimony from the public, Councilmember Crystal Gray made a motion to deny the site review application based on the finding that the project did not meet three site review criteria.  The motion passed 7-1.  I would like to thank Mayor Osborne and Council Members Suzy Ageton, Matt Appelbaum, Macon Cowles, Crystal Gray, Lisa Morzel and Ken Wilson for their thoughtful deliberations and for their votes to reverse the Planning Board decision.
