Serving on a city or county board or commission is one way to give back to your community and participate in some tough decision making. The city and county need your expertise, your compass and your dedication to the community. Please consider applying for one of the volunteer positions listed below.  You won’t regret it.

For the City of Boulder, the 2014 annual recruitment period opened January 2 and will close on February 13.  Application information is available on the city’s website.  The city is recruiting residents for the following boards and commissions:

  • Beverages Licensing Authority (Citizen at Large)
  • Board of Zoning Adjustments (BOZA) (Citizen at Large)
  • Boulder Design Advisory Board (BDAB) (Citizen at Large)
  • Boulder Junction Access District Parking Commission (One Citizen at Large and One Property Owner/Representative)
  • Boulder Junction Access District TDM Commission (One Citizen at Large and One Property Owner/Representative)
  • Boulder Urban Renewal Authority (Two Citizens at Large)
  • Downtown Management Commission (Property Owner/Representative)
  • Environmental Advisory Board (Citizen at Large)
  • Housing Authority (Two Citizens at Large)
  • Human Relations Commission (Citizen at Large)
