Community Cycles Presents ‘Speaking for Cyclists’ Discussion on Bike Advocacy

By

As part of Boulder’s Walk & Bike Month, the Community Cycles Advocacy Committee will host “Speaking for Cyclists” on Friday, June 7 at 6 p.m. The talk will be held at the Community Cycles Shop, 2805 Wilderness Place, Suite 1000. Members of the committee will discuss what they do to make Boulder a better place to bike and will answer questions about biking and upcoming projects for bicyclists in the City of Boulder and Boulder County in Boulder.

“Cycling is a way of life for people in Boulder and Boulder County, so we are always looking for ways to continue to improve our access and facilities to help get more people on bikes,” said Ann Haebig, a member of the Advocacy Committee. “When the community is educated and engaged on the issues, it helps to get things done.”

Participants will have the opportunity to share their priorities for improvements to help the committee better represent cyclists’ wishes. Light snacks will be provided.

For more information, contact Ann Haebig at 303-350-7701 or ann@communitycycles.org. Community Cycles is located at 2805 Wilderness Place Suite 1000. For more on Walk and Bike Month, go to www.walkandbikemonth.org.
