About the author:

Jason Vogel is a passionate citizen of Boulder and a father of two young children he adores. He has served on the Parks and Open Space Advisory Committee for Boulder County and currently serves on the Environmental Advisory Board for the city. He is an environmental consultant working primarily on climate change adaptation for local, state, federal, and international clients. Jason's passion is public lands, the environment, and sharing the land ethic with his wife, children, and pretty much anyone he talks to. He currently serves as president of the Indian Peaks Traverse Coalition, which is a grass roots group of people excited by the adventure, conservation, historical, and recreational opportunities made possible by a back country, non-motorized trail connecting Boulder to Winter Park. Jason has also served on the board of the Boulder MountainBike Alliance for more years than he can remember.
