Lisa Morzel is currently a member of the Boulder City Council and has served on the council for 14 years. She has been working on Rocky Flats related issues since 1978. Lisa was one of the 17,000 people who joined hands encircling the perimeter of the Rocky Flats plant in 1983, demanding permanent closure of the plant. Lisa has a PhD in geology and geophysics and is a senior research geologist for the US Geological Survey. Lisa works with the Yellowstone Volcano Observatory.
