About the author:

Max Taffet is a Boulder native who attended Mapleton Elementary and Boulder High School for his essential schooling. Since then he's resided in Vancouver, Canada; Graz, Austria; La Esperanza, Honduras; Quetzaltenango, Guatemala; Boston, Ithaca, and now NYC. For nearly three years he served as a researcher for The Community Foundation Serving Boulder County. While living and working in Boulder he was on the City of Boulder's Capital Investment Stakeholder Group and an active board member with PLAN-Boulder. Now Max is in graduate school studying for a Master's of Regional Planning at Cornell University. His current research interests are navigating constituencies and complex planning regulations; the process of creating infill development; and the neighborhood function and impact of coworking office space. Fall of 2013, Max is studying at Cornell's Architecture, Art, and Planning Studio in NYC. While there he will be interning with the New York City Economic Development Corporation. Max is an avid cyclist and a franco/hispano-phile.
