The canvassers are here. As promised by Craigslist, two friendly fellows are going door-to-door in my neighborhood, leaving the Boulder Smart Energy Coalition’s (BSEC) big flier.
According to Canvasser Kevin, they work for Rocky Mountain Voter Outreach, an organization which has been engaged by the BSEC to send paid canvassers door-to-door in Boulder speaking against Ballot Issues 2B and 2C. Kevin insisted that the BSEC is not supported by Xcel, and continued to assert that even after I cited articles to the contrary. I also asked him about Ms. Karey Christ-Janer, featured in the flier as a neighbor, but who actually doesn’t live in Boulder. He said that she is a part-time resident and founder of RenewablesNow (sic). Hmm.
