Suzanne Jones has over 20 years of public policy experience at the local, state and federal level. Most recently, Suzanne worked 16 years for The Wilderness Society where she served as the Central Rockies Regional Director running the Society's Denver office and leading coalition efforts to collaboratively protect our nation's public lands and improve their management. More locally, Suzanne was elected as the top vote-getter in November 2011 to a four-year term on the Boulder City Council, building on her prior experience serving on Boulder's Environmental Advisory Board, Boulder's Blue Ribbon Commission II, and as a board member of PLAN-Boulder County. Before moving back to Colorado where she spent much of her youth, Suzanne worked in Washington, D.C. as the National Wildlife Federation's legislative representative on endangered species issues, and as congressional staff for the Fisheries & Wildlife Subcommittee in the U.S. House of Representatives. Suzanne has a M.S. in Resource Policy and Management from the University of Michigan's School of Natural Resources and a B.S. in Natural Resources from Cornell University.
