About the author:
Lili has always believed that PV cells are magic (and still does). She used to stop her car by highway signs in California in the 1970s to look at them closely. One of her most exciting experiences was to be let into a clean room to have a look at some satellites that were about to be launched on top of the Ariane rocket (they were covered w/ PV cells). In 1982 she was a science reporter for National Public Radio and did one of the first stories on global warming. Now she believes that we have a very, very short time to get control of our carbon emissions. If we put that PV magic to work - along with wind and a few other things - we may just be able to do it.
